Risk disclosure
Please read this carefully. It applies to everything VECTOR shows you.
Not financial advice
VECTOR is an analysis tool. The metrics, charts and simulations it produces are for informational and illustrative purposes only. They are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, and not a prediction of future outcomes. Any decision you make is your own responsibility.
Past performance is not future results
Every figure is computed from historical profit/loss that you provide. Historical performance — however strong — does not guarantee future results. Track records can be curve-fit, regime-dependent, or simply lucky; statistics from a short or biased sample can flatter a strategy that disappoints live.
Simulations are hypothetical
Monte Carlo "future scenarios", Risk Sizing projections and similar outputs are hypothetical models built by resampling or fitting your past data. They cannot foresee events the history never contained (regime changes, structural breaks, liquidity shocks). Probabilities such as "probability of ruin" are relative gauges, not guarantees, and real outcomes can be worse than any simulated path.
Trading involves substantial risk
You can lose money
Trading and investing carry a real risk of loss, up to and including your entire capital. Leveraged instruments such as options and futures can lose value rapidly. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and consider seeking advice from a qualified, independent professional.
No warranty
VECTOR is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including as to accuracy or availability. It does not connect to any broker, place orders, or manage funds. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VECTOR and its operators are not liable for any trading or investment losses arising from your use of the service.
