Settings

Open Settings from the user menu. Preferences are organised into a few tabs.

Appearance

Theme — System, Light or Dark. The two themes are designed as the same instrument under different light, so every chart and colour adapts.
Charts — line style for every equity and drawdown curve (workspace, strategy detail, and analysis modules): Step (stepped) or Smooth (smooth curve). The choice applies everywhere at once.

Language & formats

Language — Italian or English for the interface. (These docs are English-only.)
Currency — USD, EUR or GBP.
Number format — e.g. 1,234.56 vs 1.234,56.
Date format — day/month/year, month/day/year or ISO, with a live preview. It governs the date fields too (custom period, Equity Control range, backtest period): each one displays and accepts dates in the format chosen here, and its calendar only offers the days the module allows. Date fields are edited one segment at a time, like the browser's own: day, month and year are three boxes inside a single field. Click (or double-click) a segment and it highlights whole, so you can rewrite just the month without retyping the date. Typing takes digits only — separators appear on their own, a full segment hands over to the next one, and impossible entries never form (month 13 becomes 12, 31 in February becomes the last day of the month). ←/→ move between segments, ↑/↓ step the active one, Backspace empties it. Pasting a whole date still works, ISO included. Dates outside the module's range are pulled back to the nearest allowed day when you leave the field.

Defaults

Set the starting point for every new session:

Initial capital — the default capital.
Import — Auto-split multi-strategy CSVs: when on, files containing several strategies (e.g. an Option Omega portfolio) are split into distinct strategies automatically instead of asking. Off by default. See Splitting a file.
Monte Carlo — default model, number of simulations and horizon.

Account

Your profile (display name, email).
Linked providers — link or unlink Google (at least one sign-in method must remain).
Delete account — permanent removal of your identity and data.

Shared spaces

Create a space, invite people by email, change roles, transfer ownership, leave or delete. The same panel holds the space trash (objects deleted in the space, restorable) and the activity feed (saves, restores, joins, role changes). See Shared spaces.

Data

CSV separator preference.
Export everything as a single archive (see Exporting).

Where preferences live

All preferences — theme, language, formats and analysis defaults alike — are cached in your browser so they apply instantly, and synced to your account so they follow you between devices. The account is the source of truth; the browser copy is just an instant cache.
